Happy Friday - Ang Aking Munting Mundo

About Happy Friday

Previous Entry Happy Friday Jun. 26th, 2005 @ 11:01 am Next Entry
Yep. We had early release so I just went to see Brian.

We ate at the Hollywood Vietnamese restaurant. Then we went to the Galleria.
Brian had to upgrade his laptop's memory.
While waiting we had some Strawberry-Banana Smoothies. Yum!

We got the laptop back then I drove Brian home.

I've never experienced Houston traffic. I think that was the first time I've ever driven at rush hour. Pretty bad.

Overall, it was a productive day.

I had to pick up my sweetie in the evening. :-)
We went to Tony's on Ella, then went bowling. Yep that was fun.

Woof! He's cute! :P

WTF? How could you have lived here for so long and not been in rush hour?

I actually work and live near IAH airport.
During the day (or rush hours), I'm never in the city.
I usually go to the city after rush hour.

Just on Friday, I went to Montrose at past noon and left around 5:30pm.
That's when I experienced traffic.

Oh well. First time for everything. :-)

I agree. Brian's a hottie.

Houston traffic is bad, but at least it moves (for the most part). Austin traffic is bad and tends not to move. Or at least moves at a snail's pace.

Compared to Manila traffic, I would take on Houston traffic anytime.
(However, I haven't experienced L.A. traffic yet. I heard horror stories.)

Ugh, I was in Manila a few years ago for my best friend's wedding (he's white, she's pinay); I was scared of the traffic over there.
