It's a Saturday...

... and what am I doing home?

All my friends are camping in Rainbowranch.
My partner is in New Orleans.
And my other local friends are busy packing and don't want to catch anything from my cough.
I've also finished watching 4 episodes of Smallville. And now I'm watching LOTR: TTT.

So what am I gonna do afterwards?

Shopping!!!

Franken-iPod

I just finished operating on my iPod Mini.

A few weeks ago, I got a battery replacement kit. So I spent some time today opening it up, causing some scrapes, but it's okay. When I got it working, I charged it for a few hours.

The reason why I changed the battery was because of the previous battery's inability to hold a charge more than 2 hours of continuous use. (So it sucks when riding planes.)

So that prompted me to get a new battery which is supposed to be the newer generation of batteries for iPod Minis.

I'm now crossing my fingers to see if this will hold the charge more than 6 hours. We'll see. :-)
